Abigail Spencer

Abigail Leigh Spencer, born 4 August 1981, is an American actor. She's best known for the roles she played in the film Cowboys & Aliens. The Haunting in Connecticut 2 Ghosts of Georgia Oz the Great & Powerful The Great and Powerful, This Is Where I Leave You. She currently stars as Amantha Holden on her role on the Sundance Channel show, a drama called Rectify. Abigail Leigh Spencer has worked in film and television. Her appearances in the drama series Rectify as well as the sci-fi series Timeless made her a star. Her debut as an actor was All My Children, a soap opera that was filmed in Gulf Breeze Florida. Her role in the soap drama All My Children earned her a prize from Soap Opera Digest for Best Female Newcomer. In the following years she mostly played guest parts on various television series. Her performance was praised for the part she took on as the Dr. Erin Jameson of Hawthorne. With her amazing looks and her acting skills, she slowly gained an enormous following. When she was about twenty years old, her debut film part was Campfire Stones. Other films she has appeared in include Jekyll This Means War and Chasing Mavericks. She earned a nomination to the Madrid International Film Festival Award' for her role in the film Beautiful Now'. The film starred her as Lucy Preston the history professor in Timeless. Spencer has received positive reviews from critics regarding her character in the sci-fi series Timeless. The actress has also been nominated for an award called the Teen Choice Award.
